Job Summary:

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for safely transporting participants around the community and to medical appointments as needed. This role is a critical part of our team at Element Care, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport participants to and from medical appointments, community activities, and other outside engagements as necessary.
  • Assist participants with mobility and accessibility needs, ensuring a smooth and comfortable transportation experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless transportation services.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor of Drivers to identify and meet the unique needs of each participant.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance tasks to ensure safe operation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Valid state Driver's License from the state of residence.
  • Minimum 5 years of safe driving experience.
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical and DOT mandated driver training.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Physical ability to assist clients with mobility needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proof of Covid vaccine required.
