Overview:

The role involves assembling and testing mechanical components and products utilizing various tools and equipment, adhering to specific production line specifications within a manufacturing environment.

The position requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the field. The incumbent will depend on instructions and established guidelines to execute job functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the organization's Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety (QEH&S) policies and strategic objectives.

Carry out sub-assemblies and final assemblies with limited supervision. Work within a production cell or handle small components by inspecting and sorting as necessary. Follow written job instructions or engineering drawings/work orders to ensure accuracy. Develop a general understanding of assembly operations to troubleshoot units effectively. Acquire knowledge of operational or departmental equipment, tools, or gauges as required. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and improvements. Maintain current calibration of instrumentation. Conduct quality checks in line with established quality protocols and ISO standards. May be required to operate forklifts, hand trucks, carts, hoists, and ladders.

Complete all other assigned tasks.

Utilize and maintain personal protective equipment essential for safe job performance. Ensure production pace aligns with customer demand. Review daily production targets and metrics collaboratively with the team. Uphold cleanliness (5S) standards in the work area daily. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives at the work site.

Skills and Equipment:
Ability to read and understand basic instructions. Proficient in using various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (e.g., power screwdrivers, sockets, etc.). Capability to interpret blueprints.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly or fast-paced operations is preferred.

Essential Attributes:
Good attendance, commitment to production quality, professional demeanor, and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift weights ranging from one to forty pounds.

Additional Requirements:
The successful candidate must adhere to the company Code of Conduct and related policies.
