Regulatory Compliance Lead

First Electronic Bank is on the lookout for a skilled Regulatory Compliance Lead to enhance their outstanding compliance department. The Regulatory Compliance Lead is vital in upholding the bank's Strategic Partnership engagements by ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with Strategic Partner Managers to oversee compliance issues for current partners and provide guidance on necessary corrective measures. Additionally, the Regulatory Compliance Lead works alongside the Compliance Testing Team to finalize assessment results and ensure compliance across partner initiatives.
- Serve as the main contact for compliance-related tasks and due diligence for designated programs.
- Offer expertise and direction to guarantee compliance with federal and state laws.
- Perform risk evaluations and establish controls to reduce compliance vulnerabilities.
- Engage with partners to resolve audit discrepancies and ensure remedial actions are implemented.
- Oversee the customer complaint resolution process and conduct site evaluations.
- Compile and deliver reports to senior management.
- Continuously improve compliance knowledge and skills through ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 3+ years of compliance experience in the banking sector, or 4-6 years without a degree.
- In-depth knowledge of consumer protection regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
- Experience in internal control assessments and compliance evaluations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Preferred qualifications:
- CRCM certification.
- Experience in Fintech collaborations.
- Familiarity with fair lending assessments and interactions with regulatory bodies.
