Position Summary
The Compliance Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing the organization's policies and procedures, identifying compliance risks, and implementing strategies to monitor and mitigate these risks. This position will initially concentrate on assisting the Compliance Director with the oversight, management, and execution of an effective Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program.
Key Responsibilities
Guided by PosiGen's vision, mission, and values, the Compliance Supervisor will collaborate with the Compliance Director to develop and execute PosiGen's TPRM program. Specifically, the Compliance Supervisor will:
- Support the Compliance Director in overseeing the consumer-focused Compliance program, which includes managing TPRM-related compliance tasks, conducting due diligence on third-party vendors, generating compliance reports as necessary, and providing consultation on compliance matters.
- Assist in the daily compliance and risk management activities in coordination with other departments and executives.
- Help manage the organization-wide policy framework.
- Effectively manage high-visibility projects related to consumer compliance.
- Assist in monitoring adherence to policies and processes to detect and prevent misconduct and mitigate risks.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of PosiGen's written policies and procedures and assist in training initiatives.
- Help establish compliance objectives that are realistic and beneficial for PosiGen.
- Support the development and implementation of consistent corrective actions for consumer compliance issues identified through audits or investigations.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Investigate and address compliance-related inquiries and issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in assessing regulatory and compliance risks.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing policies across an organization.
- Process-oriented mindset; familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to convert qualitative data into quantitative insights.
- Experience in investigating compliance-related issues and responding to inquiries.
- Willingness to travel as needed within PosiGen's operational markets.
- Preferred experience in the residential solar sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to develop, communicate, and drive towards a strategic vision.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player who is proactive, business-minded, and solution-oriented.
- Sound judgment with the ability to simplify complex issues and devise practical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, from senior management to operational staff.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Google Workspace products and services.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in compliance roles.
- Familiarity with DOJ and other governmental compliance guidelines.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations, particularly in relation to residential solar.
- Preferred experience in risk management and auditing.
