• Assist in the formulation and defense of regulatory submissions concerning company policies and standards, under supervision.

• Act as a representative of the organization in regulatory matters, engaging with regulators, community stakeholders, and various internal departments.

• Analyze and interpret regulations to ensure proper application to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Participate in training and communication efforts regarding changes to regulations and compliance processes.

• Prepare analytical reports and provide strategic recommendations to management to guide regulatory policy decisions.

• Conduct cost assessments related to regulatory charges and collaborate with relevant business units to prepare necessary documentation.

• Engage with state regulatory bodies to address customer complaints and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.

• Participate in formal proceedings related to customer complaints, ensuring compliance with established timelines and standards.

• Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with business units to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance.

• Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as needed, including liaising with assistance agencies and identifying opportunities for reducing customer grievances.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of three years of experience in a regulatory environment.

• Solid understanding of relevant company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

• Proficient in using personal computers and software applications for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of consulting with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and work as part of a team.

• Skills in presenting alternatives and recommendations effectively.

• Project management capabilities, including task identification and scheduling.

• Willingness to travel as required.
