Job Title: Claims Supervisor, Operations

The Claims Supervisor, Operations will oversee a team of operations associates in the claim departments, ensuring efficient handling of various claim-related functions. This role involves planning and monitoring unit workflow, assigning tasks, and conducting quality assurance reviews to identify trends and provide feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and monitor unit goals for service, production, and work quality.
  • Plan and optimize unit workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with management to analyze quality trends and performance metrics.
  • Make recommendations for promotions, staff changes, and salary adjustments.
  • Travel to other claim locations as needed to support team members and ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for technology projects and production releases.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of related claims experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and knowledge of ClaimsPro, Image Right, and Client Letter.
