Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a positive customer experience. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and resolving issues. Perform various cleaning tasks, including trash collection, floor maintenance, and equipment movement. Deep clean high-traffic areas and maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and staff. Collaborate with the team to achieve store goals and maintain a positive, respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
  • Deliver friendly customer service, helping customers shop our store and find what they're looking for.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Additional Duties
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to remain standing for long periods of time. Ability to move throughout the store. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Public retail store setting taking care of our customers; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
