Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Environment Associate to join our team at Michaels Arts and Crafts. As a Store Environment Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including dusting, mopping, and cleaning assigned areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, helping customers shop our store and find what they're looking for.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, and move equipment and products for proper cleaning and placement.
  • Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment, and maintain cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high traffic areas.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines, and maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Requirements
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, and move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
