Responsibilities:
* Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
* Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
* Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
* Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
* Deep cleans key areas of the store, including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
* Must keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
* Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
* Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
* Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
* Maintains positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization's vision and values.
* Projects a positive image and serves as a role model for other Team Members.
Other duties as assigned may include:
* Providing a fast and friendly check out experience; executing cash handling to standards.
* Engaging customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completing enrollments.
* Assisting with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
* Participating in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
* Supporting shrink and safety programs.
* Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; executing Company policies and standards.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
Work Environment:
* Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
* Ability to move throughout the store.
* Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
* Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

* Public retail store setting taking care of our customers; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks; Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
* Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
