Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a positive customer experience. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and addressing their needs. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash, adhering to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors, following established protocols.
  • Move equipment and products for cleaning and restocking, ensuring efficient store operations.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
  • Deep clean key areas, including bathrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic zones, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisors of supply needs in advance.
  • Take initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks, ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers, upholding the organization's values and vision.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of rewards programs and private label credit cards, completing enrollments as needed.
  • Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work in a public retail store setting, with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks.
