Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct Support Supervisor to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a Direct Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our Direct Support Employees, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and support to provide high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of Direct Support Employees, ensuring that they are providing the highest level of care to our clients.
  • Manage Residential Homes/Facilities: Manage residential homes/facilities as assigned, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Resolve Employee Issues: Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews, ensuring that our employees are motivated and engaged.
  • Ensure Training Requirements: Ensure that employees meet training requirements and attend required events, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Provide After-Hours Coverage: Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation, ensuring that our clients receive the care they need 24/7.
  • Monitor and Provide Feedback: Monitor and provide feedback to employees in interactions and relationships with the people supported, ensuring that they are providing the highest level of care.
  • Implement Services and Supports: Implement services and supports that will assist the people we support achieve personal goals and desired outcomes as identified through an Individual Support Plan.
  • Carry Out Responsibilities: Carry out the responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional, including interviewing, recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; reviewing performance; rewarding, motivating, and promoting team performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D required, Associate Degree in a health-related area; or two years' experience in a health-related field preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
  • Certifications: Provide CPR after certification, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
Benefits
  • Pay: $17.00-$20.00 /hr.
  • Bonus: Employee sign-on bonus of $1000.00, paid out in three increments: $250.00 after orientation, $250.00 after completing 90-day probation, and $500.00 after 6 months of employment.
