Job Summary

The First Report Unit Supervisor is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the First Report Unit. This position requires a strong leader who can manage a team, analyze data, and make informed decisions to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Quality Analysis: Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure that our team is meeting or exceeding performance standards.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve results.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to drive business results.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the First Report Unit and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in claims or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Internet.
  • Claims Systems: Working knowledge of ClaimsPro, FNOL, Polstar, and Image Right.
