Position Overview

We are seeking a committed individual to join our team as a Retirement Benefits Support Specialist. In this role, you will be essential in delivering outstanding service to our clients associated with the City of New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications from clients reaching out to the retirement benefits system
  • Understand client requirements and provide suitable resolutions
  • Exhibit excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients
  • Employ basic problem-solving skills to resolve client inquiries
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments within the organization

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or 60 college credits from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of two years of experience in quantitative analysis or financial computations
  • Background in customer service, particularly in the financial sector
  • Proficient in computer applications and CRM systems
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Adaptable and open to new challenges
