POSITION SUMMARY
Brio Benefit Consulting, now part of Alera Group, Inc., is seeking a dedicated Client Service Associate focused on Retirement Solutions to enhance our Employee Benefits Team.
Alera Group is a prominent independent firm specializing in insurance and wealth services, providing a broad spectrum of employee benefits, property and casualty insurance, retirement planning, and wealth management solutions to clients across the nation.
This role offers a Hybrid work arrangement, allowing for flexibility between our New York office and remote work for suitable candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to all retirement plan clients.
- Engage with clients to address inquiries regarding products and services, while effectively managing and resolving any complaints.
- Take the lead in addressing complex client inquiries and non-routine issues, ensuring satisfaction with our providers and third-party administrators.
- Collaborate with the Retirement Solutions Group to proactively identify and address client needs and potential challenges.
- Keep the team updated on account statuses and emerging client opportunities.
- Participate in the onboarding process for new clients.
- Support the scheduling and facilitation of client education sessions and plan transitions as required.
- Maintain and organize client records within the fiduciary briefcase.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly investment reports to clients.
- Coordinate with recordkeeping partners to implement necessary investment modifications.
- Initiate and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as necessary.
- Undertake special projects that involve direct client interaction as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Securities and/or Insurance Licensing is advantageous.

Starting salary of $60,000.
