Position Overview:
The role of Associate Manager, Financial Planning - NYC entails leading financial planning seminars and webinars across designated areas. The successful candidate will possess the Certified Financial Planner designation and will be responsible for engaging with participants through informative sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial planning seminars and assist in departmental initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NYC Deferred Compensation Plan services and relevant financial trends.
- Deliver educational seminars on retirement planning and associated financial topics.
- Communicate complex concepts and reports effectively to participants.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.
- Exhibit flexibility to present outside of standard working hours.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in Financial Services.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is mandatory.
- Familiarity with retirement plans, including 457, 401, 403b, and IRAs.
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of NYC Deferred Compensation Plan products.
