Role Overview

The Channel Specialist will play a crucial role in executing strategic initiatives within our Fire Sprinkler Segment to achieve sales and profitability goals. This position involves collaborating closely with the Channel Manager to cultivate robust relationships with key decision-makers, enhancing sales opportunities while addressing customer inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in the channel and end-user markets to optimize sales potential.
  • Continuously gather market intelligence through various internal and external sources to inform strategic decisions.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive positioning to identify performance drivers and growth opportunities.
  • Propose and implement channel programs aimed at maximizing revenue growth.
  • Execute branding strategies within the channel, including the development of merchandising materials and planograms.
  • Lead sales initiatives, coordinating promotional activities, new product placements, and event support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer needs are met and service levels are maintained.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of products and applications, effectively communicating their advantages to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to enhance account performance through strategic actions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and identify opportunities for maximizing returns.
  • Results-oriented with excellent follow-through capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including proficiency in presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 65% of the time).
