This role encompasses significant responsibilities in leading and managing the social services department, ensuring the effective delivery of various programs and services.
You will oversee the administration and clinical operations of the department, ensuring compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including standards set by accrediting bodies.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Actively participating in disaster response initiatives and ensuring operational continuity.
- Maintaining regular attendance and being flexible with shift assignments as needed.
- Monitoring departmental performance indicators and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Conducting administrative tasks as assigned by senior leadership, including communication with stakeholders.
- Leading program development and ensuring alignment of staff competencies with departmental needs.
- Ensuring optimal performance and productivity of all social services staff during clinical activities.
- Holding team members accountable for achieving departmental goals and completing performance evaluations on time.
- Demonstrating expertise in clinical service provision and offering supervision to professional staff.
- Fostering a culture of customer service and patient rights protection.
- Collaborating with management to establish effective systems and partnerships with external organizations.
- Exhibiting professionalism and empathy in interactions with various stakeholders.
- Participating in committees and quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing social services in healthcare settings.
- Experience working with Behavioral Health Organizations in an inpatient context.
