COBRA Specialist

The COBRA Specialist will provide exceptional service to clients and COBRA participants by administering COBRA benefits and resolving related issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide timely and professional service to internal and external customers
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person
- Participate in new business implementation and process improvements
- Respond accurately and promptly to all inquiries
- Process qualifying events, participant terminations, and updates
- Resolve COBRA administration service issues with internal staff and vendors
- Advise COBRA participants on regulatory requirements and processes
- Process premium payments and COBRA-related correspondence
- Meet or exceed performance standards and participate in Open Enrollment planning
- High School Diploma required
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
- Customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of COBRA and federal regulations
- Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS, etc.)
- Bilingual, Spanish preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
