The COBRA Specialist - Call Center Representative supports and services clients as well as COBRA participants for whom OneSource Virtual contracted to provide COBRA Administration
Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities
Provides professional and timely service to internal and external customersEffective communication skills via telephone, email and in-personParticipates in new business implementation processProvides accurate and timely responses to all inquiriesProcesses qualifying events, participant terminations and updatesResolves COBRA administration service issues with internal staff and outside VendorsAdvises COBRA participants of regulatory requirements regarding grace periods, processes, etc.Processes premium paymentsProcesses all incoming and outgoing COBRA-related correspondenceMeets or exceeds all performance standardsParticipates in Open Enrollment planning and implementationAssumes other duties as assigned by ManagerCompetencies

Qualifications and Experience
High School Diploma Required1-2 years of related experience and/or trainingCustomer Service experience preferredMust have knowledge of COBRA; knowledge of federal regulationsProficient PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS, etc…)Preferred Skills
Bilingual, Spanish preferredBachelor’s Degree preferred#LI-REMOTE
