Job Summary

The COBRA Specialist - Call Center Representative supports and services clients as well as COBRA participants for whom OneSource Virtual contracted to provide COBRA Administration services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides professional and timely service to internal and external customers.
  • Effectively communicates with clients and stakeholders via various channels.
  • Participates in new business implementation processes and ensures seamless integration.
  • Responds to client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Processes qualifying events, participant terminations, and updates in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Resolves COBRA administration service issues with internal staff and external vendors.
  • Advises COBRA participants on regulatory requirements regarding grace periods, processes, and other relevant matters.
  • Processes premium payments and manages all incoming and outgoing COBRA-related correspondence.
  • Meets or exceeds all performance standards and contributes to the growth and success of the organization.
  • Participates in Open Enrollment planning and implementation.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of COBRA and federal regulations.
  • Proficient PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS, etc...).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
