Electronics Technical Supervisor

As a key member of our team, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems aboard our vessels. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic components related to drilling equipment, dynamic positioning systems, communication, data acquisition, computers, and navigation equipment.
- Ensure daily completion of inspections and maintenance on electrical/electronic equipment.
- Oversee the operation and servicing of power generation equipment, including generators, motor controls, SCRs, switching equipment, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of general equipment such as HVAC systems, refrigeration installations, and communication systems.
Professional Requirements:
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- International certification for high or low voltage equipment.
- Strong technical calculation skills necessary for drilling unit operations and solid computer knowledge from a user perspective.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology, or a diploma in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical/electronics supervisor related to drilling operations on semi-submersible rigs.
