Position Overview
The Territory Sales Supervisor plays a pivotal role in driving sales and managing personnel to enhance organizational revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees, trains, and nurtures team members to ensure compliance with established performance standards; organizes and leads seasonal sampling initiatives.
- Addresses customer service and delivery challenges that arise during weekends; collaborates with delivery personnel to resolve any weekend logistics issues; reports all performance and service-related matters to the relevant management team.
- Fosters and maintains strong relationships with Territory Account Managers and Large Format Account Managers; provides essential customer service and order management support during staff absences.
- Conducts evaluations of retail locations to ensure compliance with company standards regarding pricing, product presentation, and inventory management.
- Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and legal compliance.
- Engages with customers and team members to introduce assigned product lines in alignment with annual operational plans.
- Responsible for stocking, rotating, and displaying products according to established guidelines.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive information, including financial data, customer details, and employee records.
- Manages time-off requests, timecards, and other administrative documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Adheres to assigned work schedules, demonstrating consistent attendance and flexibility to meet operational demands. Performs additional related duties as necessary.
A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in sales, particularly with consumer products.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential; prior experience with VIP systems is strongly preferred.
Certifications & Licenses
A valid Driver's License is required; the employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.
Additional Qualifications
Knowledge of the retail sales environment, beverage industry, and standard selling practices is crucial. Skills in product sales and customer service are essential. The ability to work efficiently, manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, adapt to changes, and build strong relationships is necessary.
