Equipment Technician

US Environmental is a small family-owned and operated company specializing in the rental and sales of environmental equipment. We are looking for a Full-Time Equipment Technician in our Hamilton NJ office who is a motivated problem-solver, detail oriented, and eager to succeed Our ideal candidate must be focused and enthusiastic to learn every aspect of our business, including applications and software, technical support, and customer service. We provide PAID TRAINING on all aspects of our equipment and standard procedures which include:
*Clean and inspect incoming rental equipment for damages
*Communicate with supervisor regarding any damaged equipment
*Calibrate, prepare, and perform diagnostics on all equipment prior to rental
*Assign appropriate equipment to rental orders
*Quality check orders for completeness and accuracy
*Package per manufacturers' specifications, including printing packing lists and calibration reports as needed *Provide technical support and training to clients via telephone, email, and in person
*Cross-train with all environmental departments, water & air quality, soil, survey, and telemetry
*The primary role of this position is to prepare equipment for rental orders, although it may occasionally be necessary for the technician to deliver rented and/or sold equipment to our clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
*High School diploma or GED, Bachelor of Science preferred
*Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software
*Excellent communication and organizational skills
*Must be able to lift 40 plus pounds
*Valid Driver's license and clean driving record, (MVR/Abstract)
Preferred Skills:
*Experience with small electronics and/or environmental technology
*Enthusiasm to learn about environmental equipment and its application
