We are seeking dedicated full-time Culinary Operations Supervisors to become integral members of our enthusiastic Food Services Team.

In collaboration with a manager, you will assist in coordinating and directing daily operations, overseeing staff, and fostering teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage work schedules and prepare production documentation (including production sheets and recipes).
  • Oversee daily operational activities.
  • Ensure food production adheres to safety and quality standards in accordance with established policies and departmental requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment for food storage.
  • Ensure that all food items are served according to menu specifications, following company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct weekly inventory assessments.
  • Prepare orders as necessary to guarantee accurate production.
  • Supervise and assess employee performance; provide guidance to enhance growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
  • Ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
  • Train and mentor food service personnel.
  • Keep records of maintenance required for departmental equipment.
  • Complete food safety and temperature logs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Execute preventative maintenance checklists.
  • Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in multitasking.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager, utilizing your skills and experience to initiate, coordinate, or complete various programs.
  • Fill in for absent staff as required.
  • Stay informed about daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
  • Be available for occasional evening and weekend catered events.
  • Participate in food service meetings with team members.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff through various channels.
  • May perform cashier duties as needed.
  • Foster positive public relations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal instructions.
  • Completion of a sanitation course within the first year of employment.
  • Knowledgeable in managing an efficient and cost-effective program.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to maintain emotional control in stressful situations.
  • Skills in resolving interpersonal conflicts.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
