Position Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst, Global Inventory Management to enhance our finance department. The successful candidate will be a seasoned finance expert capable of fostering strong business partnerships while overseeing global inventory and intercompany accounting functions. This role reports directly to the Controller for the Corporate and Americas Region and is essential for driving financial performance and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver precise and timely financial reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, with a specific emphasis on inventory and intercompany accounting.
  • Establish and uphold accounting policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Work closely with Regional Controllers, Plant Controllers, and Plant Leadership to evaluate and interpret financial data, offering insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the accounting department.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant designation preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or chemical sectors is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across various teams.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
