Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and reporting for Bertelsmann and its affiliated entities. Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and senior finance leadership to assess and report on financial performance.
2. Develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial variance reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
3. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, including revenue forecasting and model development using advanced financial planning tools.
4. Contribute to the design and implementation of performance metrics and profitability reporting to enhance financial visibility.
5. Support the financial forecasting cycle and provide insights on budgeting and reporting issues related to program contributions and operational metrics.
6. Engage in special projects requiring financial analysis and strategic input as needed.

Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant financial experience, ideally within an academic institution. Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and analytical problem-solving is essential.

Skills:
- Strong ethical standards and integrity in all professional dealings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build effective partnerships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiar with integrated financial software systems.

Work Environment:
The role is primarily office-based, with standard working hours. The work environment is typical of a corporate setting, with exposure to moderate noise and standard office equipment.
