ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ACBS Functional Consultant to join our Banking & Financial Services Consulting group. In this role, the individual will provide expert guidance and support in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System) platform. The consultant will collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their business needs and translate them into effective solutions within the ACBS framework.

We are looking for Consulting Managers who can excel within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Manager, Consulting (a Senior Manager level position), this entails leading a team of consultants through client engagements, managing escalations, and owning specific workstreams; maintaining domain expertise; contributing meaningfully to the sales process through RPI development, client presentations, financial modeling, pricing strategies, and ensuring flawless delivery; creating service offerings and client training materials; and participating in PeopleCare initiatives, recruitment, and mentoring. The specific requirements for this position are outlined below.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements pertaining to commercial lending and loan servicing.
  • Assist in the configuration and customization of the ACBS platform to align with the unique needs of clients.
  • Provide expertise in ACBS modules, including customer service, payments, credit administration, syndications, and collateral management.
  • Support testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the integrity and functionality of ACBS implementations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ACBS functionality and its integration with other systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices concerning commercial lending and ACBS.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or PGDM preferred.

15+ years of experience in financial services and commercial lending.

Experience with ACBS implementation and upgrades.

Background in the banking industry, covering loan origination, servicing, and reporting.

Specialization in ACBS product consulting, business assessments, project management, service delivery, customer relations, process improvements, integration and automation solutions, and data management strategies.

Proficient in developing transition plans, risk mitigation strategies, gating criteria sign-offs, knowledge transfer documentation, phase evaluations, and status reporting.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and global delivery models.
