Premise Health Inc. is in search of a full-time Medical Director to lead primary care and clinical operations within a direct care clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and prescribe appropriate treatments.
  • Deliver a wide range of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services, including preventive and primary care.
  • Oversee clinical practices and protocols at the facility.
  • Contribute to the formulation of annual health center objectives.
  • Drive clinical outcomes across various programs and assist in policy development to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in the recruitment and assessment of clinical staff to ensure quality and cultural alignment.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to enhance member engagement and service utilization.
  • Exhibit clinical expertise relevant to the services provided.
  • May act as a collaborative physician for advanced practice providers.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to ensure the effective operation of the health center and maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Valid medical license in all states of practice.
  • Federal DEA license corresponding to each state of practice.
  • State-specific narcotic and controlled substance licenses as required.
  • Current board certification or eligibility, with the expectation to sit for boards within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification with hands-on evaluation, meeting American Heart Association standards.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years in family medicine, emergency care, outpatient services, or occupational health.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient presentation skills, comfortable engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records is highly desirable.
