We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Proteomics Research Specialist to join our team at the Sloan Kettering Institute. As a key member of our Proteomics Group, you will be responsible for designing and executing proteomic experiments, developing LC-MS-based proteomics methods, and collaborating with scientists to advance our research goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform custom proteomic, phosphoproteomic, and targeted proteomic experiments
  • Develop, optimize, and validate new LC/MS methods
  • Use and maintain high-resolution mass spectrometers and nano LC instruments
  • Conceptualize, design, and conduct proteomic experiments
  • Apply data analysis software for proteomics data
  • Ensure high-quality research work and adherence to regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor and update customer requests in iLAB
  • Oversee laboratory inventory and generate purchase orders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Biological, Chemistry, or Science related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3 years of experience
  • Expertise in mass spectrometry-based proteomics, including proteome profiling, PTM, protein-protein interaction, chemoproteomics, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $66,500.00-$103,100.00
  • Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm schedule
