In this role, you will be responsible for selling our genomics and proteomics large instruments and consumables to academic and government customers./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliDevelop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve sales goals/liliPromote and sell the Bio-Rad Equipment Portfolio and accompanying consumable workflows/liliBuild, manage, and grow the sales opportunity funnel via Salesforce.com CRM/liliIdentify, nurture, and grow sales opportunities/liliManage and meet customer deadlines/liliPartner and communicate with regional sales team to ensure achievement of territory sales goals/liliProactively update CRM on a daily basis/liliCommunicate with regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities, and forecast/liliDemonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills within Bio-Rad and externally with customers/liliLearn technical aspects of product portfolio and learn to demo key products/li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliBA/BS (required), MS/PhD (preferred)/lili3-5 years of sales experience with a strong focus on selling both Genomics and/or Proteomics capital equipment & consumables portfolios preferred/liliRelevant research experience can replace sales experience/liliPrevious experience selling to academic and government customers preferred/liliCandidate must demonstrate scientific understanding and fluency in the areas we serve with our product portfolio/liliExcellent communication & presentation skills (Verbal & Written)/liliHighly motivated with a demonstrated record of success/liliStrong knowledge of the genomics and proteomics research space/liliExcellent interpersonal skills Developed analytical skills/liliKnowledge of Salesforce.com and Microsoft office/li/ulpbTotal Rewards Package:/b/ppWe offer a competitive and comprehensive Total Rewards Program that provides value, quality, and inclusivity while satisfying the diverse needs of our evolving workforce. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
