Research Compliance Specialist

The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Research Compliance Specialist to join its team. This role will play a critical part in advancing justice, fairness, and excellence in corrections.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for using evidence-based approaches and data-driven decision-making to drive positive change.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of research and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborating with the monitoring team to measure and monitor DOC compliance with Minimum Standards
  • Conducting primary and secondary research using unique access to jails and DOC data

The Research Compliance Specialist will be based in the lower Manhattan office but will frequently work at Rikers Island and other DOC facilities.

Requirements include a master's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in research or a related field.
