We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional support for our Amada Automation Systems, focusing on core machinery operations. This role encompasses installation, maintenance, training, and technical support within the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Expertly troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, along with networking issues.
- Accurately interpret layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.
- Prepare and submit daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills in English.
- Foster excellent customer relationships and ensure thorough follow-up.
- Oversee the complete equipment installation process at customer locations, which may involve physical tasks such as climbing and bending.
- Provide training on operation, applications, software, and part programming to customers.
- Utilize Amada software applications for line control and part programming.
- Engage in regular travel within the assigned territory.
- Capable of lifting weights up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
This position reports directly to the Regional Service Manager.
Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a minimum of an Associate's degree with relevant experience is preferred.
Skills Required:- Proficient in analyzing and repairing various systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical.
- Skilled in using hand tools, Volt/Ohm meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with computers and Windows operating systems.
- Adept at reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Responsible for providing comprehensive service and support throughout the customer's machine ownership experience.
- Regular travel within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight stays.
Hourly rate: $30.00
