Configuration Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Configuration Automation Specialist to join our team at Expeditors. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline our business application team's build, test, and deploy pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible, and will be able to work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation solutions to standardize and automate business application team's build, test, and deploy pipelines
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools
- Provide training and support to team members on automation best practices and tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, and Ruby
- Critical and logical thinking in high-pressure circumstances
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $100,000 to $145,000
