Configuration Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Automation Specialist to join our team at Expeditors. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our automation infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement automation solutions using Chef, Puppet, and Ansible
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline our build, test, and deploy pipelines
- Provide technical guidance and support to our teams on automation best practices and tools
- Contribute to the development of our automation strategy and roadmap
- Proven experience in automation and infrastructure as code
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Ruby
- Experience with debugging system-level issues in Unix or Linux
- Ability to formulate design strategies from business requirements and concept documents
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Competitive salary range: $100,000 - $145,000
