Role Summary:
The Technical Support Specialist – Bilingual English/Spanish collaborates with MLS clients and various departments within Stellar to ensure our customers effectively utilize our premier real estate software. This position emphasizes resolving inquiries on the first contact, maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to established procedures, and troubleshooting to enhance customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Support Center Supervisor, this role demands an individual capable of managing a high volume of inquiries while maintaining exceptional quality in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Your primary duties will include:
- Responding to incoming support requests from clients via phone, email, in-person, and chat in a professional manner.
- Establishing rapport and gathering detailed information regarding user issues.
- Documenting all relevant user identification details and the nature of the inquiry thoroughly and promptly.
- Utilizing knowledge bases, FAQs, email communication, and online resources to assist in resolving issues.
- Learning and identifying the software supported by the organization.
- Testing solutions to confirm that issues have been resolved effectively.
- Prioritizing and escalating issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Conducting follow-ups post-resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Occasionally working overtime as required by job demands.
- Being available for Saturday shifts as needed.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Recording all hours worked accurately, with prior approval required for any overtime.
- Maintaining regular attendance, as physical presence in the workplace is essential.
- Participating in cross-training for other departmental functions as required.
- Adapting to a hybrid work environment effectively.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the Technical Support Specialist – Bilingual English/Spanish should possess the following skills:

- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.

Physical Requirements:
- Acceptable vision and hearing (with or without correction).
- Occasional bending and lifting of up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for approximately 2 or more hours daily.
- Ability to talk and sit for extended periods, approximately 8-10 hours a day.
- Ability to write and/or type for long durations, approximately 8-10 hours a day.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or Associate's degree, or technical certification in information technology, or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
- Industry certifications (e.g., HDI Certified, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or other relevant certifications) are a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Mac OS, Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Internet Explorer, various web browsers, mobile devices, and software/hardware firewalls.
