We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Crisis Assessor to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Mobile Crisis Assessor, you will be responsible for providing mental health assessments and treatment recommendations to patients in crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individualized mental health assessments and provide treatment recommendations to patients, family members, and emergency room/hospital teams.
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary and facilitate transfer of patients to inpatient facilities if required.
- Assist with emergency room/hospital procedures, including commitment procedures if necessary.
- Document services provided, including disposition of each patient assessed.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
- Current license in the State of Arizona as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a related field.
- Current CPR certification, if required by a customer hospital.
- Valid driver's license.
- Completion of an appropriate internship, including provision of individual, group, or family therapy/counseling.
- Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy/counseling.
- Mobile assessment experience preferred.
