IT Support Specialist for Department of Veterans Affairs

Our team is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our rapidly growing help desk team in Natchitoches, LA. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's systems and providing exceptional customer service to end-users.
The estimated salary for this position is $24.47 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
This is a full-time opportunity with a 40-hour workweek, offering a hybrid work environment with opportunities to work from home and onsite at our Natchitoches facility.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to incoming service calls and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilizing troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Providing accurate and helpful information to customers through various communication channels
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a technical support role
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
