Supervising Investigator

Under the direction of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area Supervising Investigator II, Division of Investigation (DOI), Health Quality Investigation Unit (HQIU), the incumbent supervises a staff consisting of Investigators who perform criminal and administrative investigations. The incumbent conducts complex and sensitive administrative and criminal investigations, including wrongful death, sexual misconduct, narcotics theft, major fraud, embezzlement, and unlicensed activity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise Investigators in conducting criminal and administrative investigations.
- Conduct complex and sensitive administrative and criminal investigations.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of investigations and maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with underserved communities and tribal governments to improve outcomes for all Californians.
- Provide equitable services and treatment to all members of the public.
Special Requirements:
- Valid California Driver's License (CDL).
- Pass a drug screening.
- Clear background investigation.
- Medical clearance.
- Psychological evaluation clearance.
- Comply with California Penal Code Section 832 et. seq. and POST training requirements.
- Submit a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) within 30 days of assuming office.
