Job Description



We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Support Specialist to join our team in the Los Angeles Office of the Attorney General. As a member of our legal support secretarial team, you will perform a variety of duties, including:




  • Preparing and processing correspondence, court forms, and legal documents
  • Using various software applications, such as Word and ProLaw, to create and edit documents
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Assisting attorneys and other staff members with research and document preparation
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills


Required Skills and Qualifications



To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Strong typing and editing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a legal or administrative setting
