Job Summary
We are seeking Primary Care Physicians for the Greater Los Angeles (GLA) VA with opportunities at West Los Angeles, Ventura, Lancaster, Sepulveda, and Santa Maria clinics. The GLA VA is affiliated with David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, offering opportunities for academic appointments as clinician-educators to teach medical students, internal medicine residents, and other trainees.
Responsibilities
- Lead patient-centered medical homes to provide longitudinal and preventative care to a panel of veterans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, social workers, integrated mental health providers, and pharmacists.
- Develop and implement care plans to improve health outcomes and quality of life for veterans.
- Participate in education and research activities, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and practice.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- A current, full, and unrestricted license from any state or US territory.
- Completion of residency in an accredited core specialty.
- Board certification in the relevant medical specialty.
- A minimum of 5 years of practice experience, although this is not required.

- A competitive salary range of $250,000-$270,000 per year, with up to $15,000 annual performance-based award potential.
