Job Description

At Balos Estiatorio, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team as a Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to lead our kitchen staff and contribute to the success of our restaurant.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who can oversee the daily operations of the kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in planning and preparing meals that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Menu Planning: Assist in menu planning and recipe development to ensure that our dishes are innovative and appealing to our customers.

  • Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills with experience in a variety of cooking techniques.
  • Kitchen Management: Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
