Emler Swim School seeks an experienced Compensation and Benefits Professional to support over 60 locations by preparing and running payroll cycles for all employees.

About the Role
  • Process and report payroll for several hundred employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory reporting requirements and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and run payroll cycles for exempt and non-exempt employees following company payroll practices using ADP WorkforceNow.
  2. Review timecards for nonexempt employees to ensure accuracy prior to processing, guaranteeing timely payment.
  3. Maintain compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws, protecting both employees and the organization.
  4. Help maintain and update the HRIS system with new hires, existing employee updates, terminations, salary updates, and upload documentation into employee files, ensuring seamless data management.
  5. Process pay adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions as needed, utilizing expertise in payroll software.
  6. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and ensures all payroll information, files, and records are maintained, adhering to industry standards.
  7. Communicate effectively with employees and managers to handle and resolve inquiries and issues, fostering a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience is required, including experience with ADP WorkforceNow or similar full-function payroll software.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and proficiency using Excel, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Understanding of voluntary deductions, ensuring accurate compensation administration.
  • Experience within a medium to large size company with multi-state locations and high-volume processing, handling complex payroll scenarios.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience, reflecting the value of your skills and expertise.
