Service Technician (Security Systems)

An exciting opportunity awaits to become a vital part of a dynamic security team with a leading privately owned security integrator globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional service to our clients consistently.
  • Respond promptly to both routine and urgent service requests, including scheduled maintenance and emergency calls; diagnose issues, troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty components as necessary.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Address a variety of service calls, including emergencies; assess repair needs and provide clients with suitable solutions; carry out necessary repairs and replacements while exercising sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate service reports for clients in a timely manner to facilitate precise invoicing and job cost management.
  • May involve custom system integrations, detailed planning and execution of system upgrades, conducting system audits, and managing databases. Additionally, may install, configure, and support various network systems and equipment for designated projects.
  • Conduct all service activities in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as company health and safety policies. Apply solid troubleshooting skills to rectify issues in malfunctioning systems.
  • Primarily responsible for executing preventative maintenance on installed systems that are generally less complex.
  • Collaborate closely with other specialists to enhance service capabilities by responding to service requests and executing Customer Support Programs and minor project tasks.
  • Scope of work includes providing technical assistance, conducting system checks on new and existing installations, and performing troubleshooting and maintenance routines associated with installed security systems, along with the installation of smaller or less complex projects.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
