Job Overview

The IT Systems Infrastructure Lead is tasked with supervising and directing our organization's IT infrastructure teams. This role encompasses the design, implementation, maintenance, and safeguarding of Cirrus Aircraft's IT infrastructure. A profound comprehension of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles is essential, along with exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategize, design, and execute IT infrastructure maintenance and projects that align with business goals. Offer technical expertise and support to other IT divisions to ensure seamless integration and operation of new technological initiatives. Formulate and uphold IT infrastructure policies and procedures to guarantee adherence to company standards, industry regulations, and security best practices. Create and sustain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure the robustness of IT infrastructure during emergencies or outages. Supervise the upkeep and support of IT infrastructure, which includes servers, network devices, storage systems, and software applications. Oversee and maintain the security of the IT infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control protocols. Manage vendor partnerships and negotiate contracts with IT infrastructure service providers. Ensure continuous delivery of on-premises and off-premises infrastructure services, available 24/7. Promote process maturity by leading change management initiatives for technical teams to ensure compliance with all departmental policies and procedures. Guarantee operational and technical support is provided to meet or exceed established service level objectives for all assigned infrastructure services. Establish vendor relationships, negotiate agreements, and hold vendors accountable for milestones and quality delivery. Lead initiatives related to infrastructure change management. Measure and monitor the performance of infrastructure. Guide the planning, selection, and procurement of assigned technologies and services. Participate in the execution of IT and business projects; review project and resource requests; coordinate schedules and activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and that delivered solutions meet identified requirements. Successfully plan, budget, and manage capital and operational expenditures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Over 8 years of experience in designing, developing, delivering, and managing enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions/services. At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing teams of five or more members, with direct managerial experience preferred. Relevant industry and/or vendor certifications will be considered advantageous. Expert-level knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including server, storage, networking, wireless, and cloud-based infrastructure. Strong experience with Cloud Infrastructure within Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
