Position Overview: Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Manager will be instrumental in delivering top-tier financial forecasting, planning, and reporting for the Go-to-Market divisions: Sales, Pre-and Post Sales, Business Development, and Professional Services. This role involves evaluating and shaping the overarching strategy for investments, headcount planning, targets, and compensation structures. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with senior executives to forecast, plan, and analyze business operations while modeling key investments and their anticipated returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Integrate with Sales and the broader Revenue teams to build trust and gain a deep understanding of the business, its economics, and performance metrics.
  • Financial Analysis: Create comprehensive models to analyze trends, identify key business drivers, and assess financial outcomes to guide investment decisions in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Marketing Spend Advisory: Provide insights on optimal marketing expenditures across various categories, develop profitability models for sales channels, regions, and products, and leverage analysis results to influence future spending.
  • Headcount and Compensation Planning: Assist in planning and managing headcount and compensation, including quarterly and annual target setting.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct special projects and analyses as required to support strategic business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and month-end reporting, ensuring operational and management reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Data Management: Identify additional data requirements and streamline systems and processes to enhance forecasting and planning capabilities.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Marketing FP&A to provide comprehensive support to the entire Go-to-Market leadership team, while also mentoring and guiding other FP&A team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years post-MBA or 6 years without an MBA in relevant financial reporting or analysis roles, demonstrating a track record of success in progressively responsible positions.
  • Experience in go-to-market FP&A, particularly in Sales, Customer Success, or Professional Services within an enterprise SaaS startup or private equity-backed company is essential. Previous investment banking experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional financial modeling capabilities and experience in leading complex quantitative analyses.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to create and deliver impactful presentations to senior management.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing demands.

Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $152,000 to $210,000 annually, depending on geographic location and individual qualifications. Weights & Biases is committed to offering competitive salary, equity, and benefits packages for all full-time employees.
