Incident Management Specialist Job Description

At Services For The Underserved, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Incident Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Reporting and Compliance: Ensure all incidents are reported in compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Protective Measures: Implement protective measures to prevent reoccurrence of incidents, prioritizing the health and safety of individuals we serve.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough investigations, review notifications, and occurrence reports to ensure compliance with agency and department policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Provide incident management training for all staff levels, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain incident management reporting logs, analyzing trends and requesting corrective actions to improve incident response.

  • Writing and Communication: Convey ideas and facts in writing, using clear and concise language that is easily understood by readers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, together with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the healthcare or non-profit field.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree and incident management experience.
