Property Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team at Horning Management Company, LLC. This individual will be responsible for conducting a thorough preventive maintenance program, repairing and completing all service requests, maintaining the exterior of all buildings in good repair, as well as security lighting systems, water lines, and other structures that could affect the safety or convenience of residents and/or staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Maintain building exteriors, interiors, fixtures, appliances, and equipment
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure all properties are well-maintained
  • Collaborate with residents to resolve maintenance issues and concerns
Requirements:
  • High School or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Yardi and Nexus software
  • Ability to lift 25-50lbs
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
