Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Concierge to join our team at Mediate Management Company, Inc. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for our residents and guests, providing exceptional service and attention to detail to create a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as a liaison between the building and Property Manager, working closely to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor access points and ensure the building is secure at all times, using security cameras and performing patrols as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including file and log updates, computer system maintenance, and shift notes.
  • Assist with filing documents, reviewing daily activity, and auditing files as needed.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with local restaurants, theaters, and venues, researching current events and happenings in the neighborhood.
  • Procure reservations, tickets, and guest accommodations, as well as museum and gallery exhibit passes.
  • Coordinate receipt and delivery of incoming and outgoing packages, including dry cleaning.
  • Enter maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner, following up on completed requests to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Follow emergency procedures as directed in the property manual, contacting emergency maintenance personnel and public service response organizations as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' customer service experience required.
  • Must be on time and able to stay awake during the entire shift.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have general computer skills to perform administrative and clerical tasks, including time entry.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission, highly preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-motivated, reliable individual who can anticipate and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to remain calm and attentive, especially during heavy building activity and emergencies.
  • Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Must be able to move, lift, push, or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Must be able to provide 3 professional references.
  • Ability to commute to work location via public transportation as our properties have no on-site parking.
