JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Director is tasked with identifying and cultivating sales opportunities to enhance the Power Systems Mfg., LLC portfolio, which includes parts, repairs, field services, structured agreements, and engineered solutions related to upgrades for industrial gas turbines within the Oil & Gas Petrochemical sector. This role demands a proactive sales approach, fostering and sustaining customer relationships while collaborating with the PSM sales team to maximize overall performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and profit margins for PSM-designed and manufactured OEM-compatible products for industrial gas turbines, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and promote long-term service, maintenance, and parts agreements for commercial clients across the United States.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Enhance PSM's visibility in the oil & gas and petrochemical market segments by promoting innovative technologies that offer low carbon solutions.
- Represent Power Systems Mfg., LLC and its affiliates at industry conferences, trade shows, and meetings.
- Negotiate significant contracts in collaboration with PSM's Contracts and Legal teams.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence to contribute to the development of PSM's commercial strategies and tactics.
- Oversee the maintenance of the CRM database related to assigned products and clientele.
- Provide insights to engineering regarding desired product features and forecasted production volumes.
- Coordinate with other product lines within the PSM business units.
- Perform additional duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Training
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Skills & Experience
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in the industrial gas turbine and Oil & Gas sectors or similar manufacturing/repair environments.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in the design, service, repair, or manufacturing of industrial gas turbines and components, with familiarity in E (mature frame) and F class machines highly preferred.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role within sales in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical rotating equipment market, with established customer connections.
- Must be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of achieving company objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
