Restaurant Operations Leader

The Restaurant Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Long John Silver's restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. This includes leading a team of employees, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience: Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that the restaurant is always stocked and ready to serve.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash handling, sales, and labor costs to ensure that the restaurant is profitable.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) months experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions, and to communicate effectively with employees and guests.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and Walking: Regularly required to stand and walk throughout the restaurant.
  • Talking and Hearing: Frequently required to talk and hear to communicate with employees and guests.
  • Handling and Reaching: Frequently required to handle and reach with hands and arms to perform tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Cooking Fumes: Occasionally exposed to cooking fumes.
  • Noise Level: Moderate noise level in the work environment.
